As a college student, you are bombarded with numerous life-altering decisions: What major to choose? Should you have any minors? Should you change your major and possibly delay graduation? Probably the most important questions is what to do once you finally graduate from college. In todays economy, perhaps adding more student loans with a graduate degree is not the choice for everyone, especially if you are footing the bill yourself. However, many argue that these days you need a graduate degree to land a decent job in just about any field. If someone decides to go to graduate school, they are faced with two options. They could work first, save some money and take a break from classes or they can apply their senior of undergrad and go straight through. One can question whether or not its feasible to know all these answers to these questions while in college and so early in life. This blog will investigate various viewpoints on these issues for the present and future job market from the point-of-view of myself, other college students, professors, working adults, etc. Hopefully, it will be a good resource for anyone struggling with these choices now.
